Features
Built for catalogs nobody can check by hand.
Thousands of imported products, each with several photos. MarkSentry looks at all of them and leaves the decision to you.
What it detects
Licensed characters
Characters from films, series, cartoons, anime and games, including stylised, redrawn or small-print versions.
Brand logos and names
On the product, on a label, on the packaging or on a prop in the background of the photo.
Designer prints
Patterns that work as a trademark even with no logo in sight: checks, monograms and repeat patterns from fashion houses.
Sports and universities
Club crests, league logos, mascots, and team and university names.
How it helps you decide
Every image, not just the first
Problems often hide in the third or fourth photo: a close-up of the print, a label, a lifestyle shot. Each product is judged on all of its images, up to 100; a product with more is never called clean.
Named findings with a reason
Not a traffic light with no explanation. Each result says what was seen ("Pikachu", "Burberry check") and why it is a risk, in English or Spanish. Characters and designer prints are recognised even with no logo.
Two levels of warning
"Infringes" when the AI recognises it clearly; "Needs review" when it is not sure. Borderline cases reach a person instead of being hidden.
Draft or archive in bulk, with the reason kept
Select many products and set them to draft, or archive them once you decide not to sell them. Each one gets the trademark-risk tag and the reason in a metafield, visible from your Shopify admin.
Mark safe
If you hold the license for a character or brand, mark the product safe. It stops showing as a risk for as long as its images stay the same.
Never pay twice for the same thing
A product is checked again only when its images change: a new photo, a removed photo, or one replaced with different content.
Where you see the results
Screens from the app, in an example store with invented products.

The whole catalog in one list
Watch the progress while it scans, with totals for "Infringes", "Needs review" and "Clean". Every flagged product shows what was detected and the reason, and you can search it by name.

Draft in bulk
Tick the products you do not want to sell and set them to draft or archive them in one go. Each one keeps the trademark-risk tag and the reason.

On every product page
Open a product in your Shopify admin and a MarkSentry block shows the verdict, what was detected and why, with "Set to draft" and "Mark safe" right there.

An email when a scan finishes
When the free sample or the catalog scan finishes, an email arrives with the totals and the products to look at first. On a monthly plan, a daily summary of what is new. You can unsubscribe from the email itself.
For real stores
Large catalogs
Designed for stores with tens of thousands of products, like those importing from dropshipping suppliers.
Ongoing monitoring
With a monthly plan, whatever you add or change is checked automatically, without you having to remember.
Billed by Shopify
Everything is charged on your Shopify invoice. Overage has a monthly cap that you approve.
No customer data
The app does not ask for access to customers or orders. When you uninstall, your data is deleted after about 48 hours (except an anonymous hash that keeps the free sample once per store).
What it does not do: give legal advice, clear products, search trademark registers, or know which licenses you hold. See the limits.
See what it finds in your catalog, free.
The first 50 products are checked at no cost, once per store. No charge and no trial clock.
